Expert Comments on KABAG

In June 2026, KABAG exhibited at WCCBT 2026 in San Francisco — the 11th World Congress of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies. Clinicians and researchers who work with adults with ADHD took time to examine the bag, and three of them later provided written comments for publication on this site.

Their comments are reproduced below in full, unedited.

KABAG is a uniquely developed innovation in backpack technology. Experts in neurodivergence and specifically ADHD carefully fashioned it to address the needs of adults with ADHD in ways that ordinary bag designs did not. KABAG was designed and put to the test by adults with ADHD to solve problems like misplacing items, finding needed amidst the clutter, and keeping track of ID's, passports, keys, and other essential items. Different compartments, see-through holders, and clips for keys and other items make it an essential everyday item for adults with ADHD and anyone who is looking to be more organized. I highly recommend KABAG!

I am most impressed that KABAG was designed in consultation with two important groups: experts on ADHD and people with ADHD themselves. The bag's design reflects principles that can support executive functioning in daily life and reduce the stress of misplaced items.

I find KABAG to be a genuinely interesting tool, built on two principles that make real sense for improving daily functioning in this population: making contents visible and giving each item a fixed, consistent place. These are exactly the kinds of small environmental adjustments that reduce cognitive load for adults with ADHD. What's more, KABAG can complement the gold-standard treatment for adult ADHD (CBT) by helping translate many of its core strategies (externalizing cues, structuring routines, reducing reliance on working memory) into daily practice.
